Praise the Lord!

Langworthys are doing better.

Pastor Joe’s father is having good days. Thankful for your prayers and for the wonderful support from friends and family.

Fall Retreat went great. Almost 50 teens attended.

Tina is home safely, and Steve and Janice survived without her.

Be thankful for the many blessings we experience in our day-to-day lives.

Hear Our Prayers

Pastor Joe has a bad cold. Pray for him.

Pray for the Langworthy family.

JR’s broken leg is healing. Please pray for him and his family.

Dominque is recovering from surgery on her broken foot. Pray for her and her family.

Noah had another seizure. They are discussing with their doctors about what to do. 

Pray for workers for our children’s ministry. Tina needs to step back because her mother has moved in with Steve and Tina.

Phil is recovering from his knee replacement surgery. Pray for his healing.

Dana is recovering from his knee surgery. He is doing fine but still has pain. 

Please pray for revival for our nation. So we can grow in unity and healing.

Amy is struggling to balance family, work, school, and treasurer.

LeeAnn and family. Her father had a medical event this summer and they are providing care.

Pray for our ministry teams and our outreach to Downeast Maine. Where is God calling you? Current needs are:

  • Children’s Church and Youth Ministry. We have a meaningful and thriving ministry to students and are especially looking for those who would help!
  • Property & Grounds Maintenance. There’s always something to repair or patch up, and soon enough we’ll have snow to shovel. Please let Pastor Joe know if you could be available to help.

As always, please pray for our missionaries, military personnel, and first responders. around the world.

REMEMBER: The Good News. Jesus is greater than the thing we fear most.

Sunday, November 23 – Refreshments and Advent decorating will follow the Worship Service. Bring a plate of cookies or another refreshment to share! 

Wednesday, November 26 – Pie Fund Raiser for NYI. Pies are $25 each and goes towards Nazarene Youth Conference 2025. Apple / Pumpkin / Blueberry. See Pastor Steve.

Thanksgiving Day. If you have nowhere to go, Pastor Steve and  Pastor Stephanie will be hosting a Thanksgiving Potluck here at the church. Reach out to them for details.

Sunday, November 30 – Thanksgiving Offering. This special offering goes 100% towards World Evangelism and is one of the best ways to support both ECN and the work of the Church of the Nazarene around the world!
