FAMILY CAMP HAS BEEN CANCELED

CHILDREN’S CAMP HAS BEEN CANCELED– The Sunday School and Discipleship Ministries International Council (SDMI) met this week and has decided to cancel Children’s Camp this year. A note from the District SDMI Director, Rev. Vanessa Betancourt: “My heart is so sad but, I don’t think we had any other choice that was responsible and right for the conditions we find ourselves in. My heart hurts for our kids because camp is so formative in their faith. For many of these kids, camp is structure and love that they do not all experience in their day to day lives. It would also have been awesome to give them a sense of normalcy after these months of on-line learning, social distancing, etc. but even camp could not be “normal” this year.”

 

NYI Teen Camp 2020 

We remain hopeful that some type of youth camp activity can take place this Summer and will have more information in the near future. If you have any questions, contact the council at maine.nyi.youth@gmail.com.

Pastor’s Day of Prayer

IF MY PEOPLE – All clergy day of prayer and spiritual unity, Saturday, September 19, 2020 at the Augusta Church of the Nazarene (30 Nazarene Drive, Augusta, ME) Coffee will be served at 8:00 a.m. Prayer starts at 9:00 a.m. Ends at 2:00 p.m. (Depending on the Approval of the Holy Spirit). Men’s Prayer Summit

January 7-9, 2021. The prayer summit will be held at the Brookwoods Conference Center. The cost will be $134 per person. Please put this on your calendar and start saving your money to attend.
